Connie Glynn – Princess Ever After|@The_WriteReads| @connieglynn| @penguinplatform|#TheRosewoodChronicles|#ultimateblogtour|#BookReview|#BookBlogger

Today, I am so happy to say I am taking part in The Write Reads Ultimate Blog Tour for the fifth book in The Rosewood Chronicles series. Princess Ever After by Connie Glynn. Thank you to The Write Reads for inviting me along and the publisher for my beautiful copy of the book. All my views are my own and unbiased.

Return to the magical world of The Rosewood Chronicles in the fifth and final instalment of this gorgeous series for fans of The Princess Diaries and Harry Potter.

Ellie is a rebellious princess who is no longer hiding her real identity.

Lottie is her Portman, wishing that she could shield Ellie from the threat of Leviathan.

Jamie is Ellie’s Partizan, a lifelong bodyguard sworn to protect the princess at any cost – but has mysteriously disappeared.

Not all of the trio have made it back to Rosewood Hall. Can they be reunited? And at what cost?

With the crown at risk, the stakes have never been higher . . .

This is a series that I have read the first book. I just got the second book through the post. I actually own the fourth book already, and then I received this one, the fifth. So I have read book one and now book 5!

This is still an enjoyable read for me as I loved being back with Ellie, Lottie, and Jamie, all characters I missed after finishing the first. Connie Glynn has definitely created and now ended a series that I am eager to fill in the blanks by reading the middle books to the series.

The LGBTQ representation is fabulous! ( I say this as a mother to a transgender son). I am sure this will be one series I can get him to read, if only for this. I loved finding out the conclusion, and yes, I may have been a tad emotional too.

Connie Glynn has, yet again, written a superb young adult, teen, adult story that, after four books, has now arrived at the end. I was again, so immersed in the final book which, just as the first did, weaves friendship and togetherness throughout the book. The fact that together, they can’t be stopped and are never alone. This is such a positive theme to any book for younger people.

A fairytale type of series that, in the last book, really twists the ‘Happy Ever After’ of the title, and it’s for me a fabulous ending.

I can imagine some people have been reading this since the first book was published, and for them, it’s a hard wrench. I know I got emotional, and I have only read two books… How I will feel when I read the full series is a different matter.

Author Bio

Connie Glynn

Connie Glynn has always loved writing and wrote her first story when she was six, with her mum at a typewriter acting as her scribe. She had a love for performing stories from a young age and attended Guildhall drama classes as a teenager. This passion for stories has never left her, and Connie recently finished a degree in film theory.

It was at university that Connie started her hugely successful YouTube channel Noodlerella (named after her favourite food and favourite Disney princess). After five years of publicly documenting her life and hobbies to an audience of 900,000 subscribers on YouTube, Connie closed the book on the Noodlerella project in a bid for more privacy and to pursue her original passions in the performing arts. Connie now writes music and fiction full- time.
